Tobias Nussbaumer creates large-formatted drawings with ink and coloured crayons on paper that he shows on special supports or integrated into installations in exhibition situations. Pictures appear in the picture, reflections can continue endlessly. Imaginary or digital constructions attain a sculptural effect. The artist calls into question viewing habits and exhibition conventions as well as the central perspective, thus new connotations and contexts become possible. An active observer is invited to explore Nussbaumer's two- and three-dimensional works.
