Sport, Fun and Games in the Würth Collection

Whether wrestling bodies or dancing acrobatics - the history of physical and playful forms of movement is a theme that has accompanied human history for millennia and continues to attract and emotionally move the masses today as it did then. No wonder, then, that the visual arts have also taken up this entertaining and edifying cultural activity throughout the ages, but especially in modern times. Examples of this are shown here in works by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Willi Baumeister, Philipp Bauknecht, Walter Wörn, Tomi Ungerer and many more.
