Distorting visual references, night has always fascinated artists. The exhibition Painting the Night transforms the visitor into a night bird and invites him to wander amongs the works of Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian and Pablo Picasso, to explore his own interior night in the company of Paul Klee, René Magritte and Louise Bourgeois. It also poses questions on what relates man to the universe with Gerhard Richter and Lucio Fontana, whilst coming face to face with the immersive experiments of contemporary artists.
