The painter, graphic artist and sculptor Norbert Stockhus, who has lived in Glatt (the town of Sulz am Neckar) since 1980, is one of the leading artistic personalities in the upper Neckar region. He is held in high esteem by art lovers far beyond the borders of the region.
For over 50 years, the artist, who is a master of his craft, has steadfastly pursued his own path, far removed from the trends of his time. As a self-confessed (pseudo)realist, he occupies a special position in the art scene. With his paintings and etchings, he creates ambiguous art worlds in which the categories of space and time are suspended.

Aus Anlass des 75. Geburtstags widmet die Ausstellungsgemeinschaft „Kunst Raum Rottweil“ dem Künstler Norbert Stockhus, der sich auch als Kurator große Verdienste um die Kunstförderung im Raum Sulz erworben hat, eine Einzelausstellung mit exemplarischen Arbeiten aus fünf Jahrzehnten. Im Blickpunkt stehen die „Experimentierfelder der Stockhus’schen Phantasie“: zwischen Realität und Utopie angesiedelte visionäre Landschaften.
