On the floor a stableboy lies on his back, his arms and legs outstretched. Has he just lain down or has something happened to him? In the Junge Kunsthalle visitors can return to aa age long past when witches and wild horses wrought havoc and even a stable could become the scene of a mysterious incident. The exhibition focuses on the enigmatic woodcut "Der behexte Stallknecht" (The Bewitched Stable Boy) by Hans Baldung Grien. The young audience is invited to delve into Baldung's mysterious conceptual world and interpret the clues on the woodcut. By following the artist's trail, the viewer can become the investigator in the enthralling case of the stableboy! Can the mystery be solved?
