50 Years Trade Association Arts and Crafts Rhineland-Palatinate
Particularly in times of digitalisierung, there is once again a growing appreciation of arts and crafts. Increasingly, it is recognised that the trasformation of simple materials such as wood, metal or ceramics into serviceable objects requires a high degree of creative experience.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the "Berufsverband Kunsthandwerk Rheinland-Pfalz" (Trade Association Arts and Crafts Rhineland-Palatinate), the Landesmuseum is showing the works of 68 contemporary craftspersons from the fields art, handicrafts and design that have influenced design not only in Rhineland-Palatinate but throughout Germany and beyond. The exhibition includes combinations of diverse materials in one object, works from the sphere "Art in Buildings" and projects yet to be realised.
