The ceramic artist, a master of crossover between vessels and sculpture, who highlights in his work the natural and earthy effectiveness of the material clay, already exhibited in the studio in 2004. This time he is presenting mainly porcelain with classic Chinese glazes such as celadon and oxblood. On the customary potter's wheel, Jochen Rüth from Altisheim underscores the glaze flow with crusty edges and drops. The Japanese hidasuki technique of marking with fired straws enables him to indulge in his predilection for calligraphy.
