The expressive style of the Norwegian Edvard Munch is world famous. Drama and passion characterise his portrayals of existential themes. Death, angst and illness, love and sexuality - for all his inward concerns he finds artistic expression with the skill of a true virtuoso.
Parallel to the exhibition "Fascination Norway. Landscape Painting from the Romantic to Modernism", the House of the Graphic Collection is showing a selection of Munch's print works: images in which he casts an artist's eye into the depths of the modern soul.
