Elly Weiblen - Rich Au.
Ink, painting, gouaches, photographs.
Who has not gazed into flowing waters and surrendered to perpetual motion? Who has not lost himself in landscapes under shimmering light? As if there were nothing else than this one of recognition and loss, focusing and letting go, time and eternity...
Elly Weiblen (*1950, lives in Korb a.N.) is also fascinated by this sensual show; the atmosphere, the colors and forms in space.
In her quiet, contemplative, mindful works - translucent large inks, fugitive tempera paintings, fleeting gouaches and reduced photographs - the artist seeks to fathom and capture these experiences.
At the center of the exhibition is the Reichenau Project, begun with a grant from the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of the State of Baden-Württemberg in 2021 and continued to the present.
