Contemporary Earthen Archtecture

The TERRA Award, the first international prize for earthen architecture, was first granted between 2015 and 2016.

The aim of this award is to raise the awareness of earthen architecture and to promote its protagonists. This touring exhibition presents a series of 40 display boards showing 40 pre-selected buildings (including the 9 prize-winners of the competition), together with their photographs. Curator of the exhibition is Dominique Gauzin-Müller, coordinator of the TERRA Award.

After Grenoble, Lyon, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Marrakesh for the 22nd UN Climate Conference, the exhibition's itinerary continues to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and to the Écomusée d'Alsace!
