Black Forest Stories
How did people live in the Black Forest a hundred years ago? Was the weather in the 19th century different to that of today? The Augustinermuseum lets pictures speak: by means of paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries, the exhibition relates not only the beauty of the Black Forest, but also the traditions of its people and nature with all its unpredictability. On display, i.a., are works by Emil Lugo Hans Thoma und Franz Xaver Winterhalter, Wilhelm Hasemann and Curt Liebich.
