For the first time, the group of so-called Concrete Artists will be the subject of an exhibition in Germany. The time span ranges from the 1920s to the 1970s - including Concrete Constructivist art between the World Wars and Concrete art after 1945. The exhibition focuses on central groups of works by twelve female artists. It also sheds light on the conditions of training and presentation for women at that time and the networks within which the artists were able to operate. A media guide breathes life into the stories behind the art. Among the artists represented in the exhibition are Sonia Delaunay, Lily Greenham, Katarzyna Kobro, Verena Loewensberg, Vera Molnar, Aurelie Nemours, Charlotte Posenenske and Sophie Taeuber-Arp.
