Pictorial cosmos of half a century

From nuclear power and the protest against it to the first large shopping centre, progressive urban concepts and DJ BoBo: on the basis of 25 selected episodes, the exhibition delves into the history of the canton of Aargau and provides a pictorial cosmos of modernity with press photographs - most of them from the Ringier picture archive. The exhibition is conceived as a walk-in sculpture. Light tables with hundreds of photographs, a multitude of contributions from the SRF archive and memories of contemporary witnesses invite visitors to discover recent history for themselves. The basis for the exhibition is the publication "Zeitgeschichte Aargau. 1950 - 2000". The exhibition is organised in cooperation with the project ZEITGESCHICHTE AARGAU.
