"200 years, what a story!"
The bicentenary exhibition of the museum's foundation
On the occasion of the bicentenary of its foundation (1822-2022), MUDAAC is offering its public an exhibition, original in its form, whose purpose is to question the role of museums, from past to present.
Through their diversity (natural history, archaeology, fine arts, ethnography, etc.), the collections of the departmental museum allow for the development of an interdisciplinary discourse, capable of arousing contemplation and curiosity in the public.
Thus, the collections presented, most of which come from the reserves, will illustrate the notions of discovery and learning, but also those of territory, modernity and pleasure.
