Friday Beyeler: Wine tasting with Georgian wines from “Vive le Vin”

Events
Friday Beyeler

On the occasion of the exhibition “Niko Pirosmani”, the Fondation Beyeler, together with Philip Gallati and his wine shop Vive le Vin, invite you to a tasting of Georgian wines. Winegrowing in Georgia has a long history dating back over 8000 years, making Georgia one of the birthplaces of viticulture. This traditional drinking culture is reflected in Pirosmani’s paintings, too, and the Vive le Vin wine experts likewise go back to its roots with their natural wines. Participants at this special tasting can look forward to an excursion into the rich and flavoursome tradition of Georgian wine-making.

The tasting takes place in German.
Meeting point: “Restaurant Beyeler im Park”. Drop-in.
